"I recorded and released this one month at a time in 2011, starting in January. I didn't have any songs written but wanted to keep recording and hone my engineering chops, as it were. I like to think you can hear the quality of my musicianship and engineering improving from track to track.
It was also good fun and tremendous help to have some of my talented and dear friends come by BARBADOS (the studio I shared with Mike Quoma and a few others) and pitch in.
Also of note, the original Zombies version is maybe the first CD I ever chose to purchase on my own after hearing "Time of the Season" in the film Awakenings. I was probably about 12 or so.
I learned so much about music and recording from doing this, I cannot overstate that or thank the Zombies enough." - Chris
